Man with his own principles, Mr.Navinthan Thanapalar has brought a huge success for the club during his leadership. He togather with his fellow board members managed to build a very strong foundation for this club in Curtin University of Technology, Sarawak Campus. Besides that, he also ended his term with a very excellent financial status for the club.

A very cheerful and highly motivated man, Mr.Saravanan Baskaran also well known as Saran, has played a vital role in CiTY CLUB by making it a well known organization in the eyes of all the Curtinians. His endless effort as a skilled designer was very essential for the club.

Mr.Yogesh, also known as Yogie is a very multi talented person. He is a vey good singer, dancer, and also football player. He proofed to be one of the important members in CiTY CLUB when he took a very big step to introduce Curtin Freestyle Dance Battle in Curtin University of Technology. His winning attitude and mentality brought a huge success to CiTY CLUB.

Name: Ms.Tulika Singh

D.O.B: 28 December 1986

Suburb: Banglore, India

Post: Secretary, Year 2007-2008

Ms. Tulika, is a very exciting and innovative person. She is  very bold in making decisions and always ready to face new challenges. Her contribution towards this club is endless. Her presence in every espect of CiTY CLUB can be clearly seen by everyone. Besides being a dedicated members of the club, she is also a very good dancer and singer. Her performances through out Miri have created a huge group of fans.

Since the club started proactively since year 2006, a lot of beautiful and sweet memories were left intact within the members of the club till now. Some of the members have graduated and left Curtin and some are still going through the different environment and experience from a very different board members every year.

CiTY CLUB's New Board Members for Year 08/09

 Hello Everyone...

CiTY CLUB recently had its Annual General Meeting on the 17th of October 2008. A lot of changes took place as power transition occured from the very top post itself. The contribution of our very experienced and highly reputated Ex-President Mr.Navinthan Thanapalar (Navin) came to an end after helding the post for a year from year 2007 till 2008. The post was then won unopposed by a very daring and bright youth Mr.Trishant Narayanan (Trish). He previously held the Vice-President post (07/08) and gained a lot of valuable lessons from the Ex-President. Next, the vacant Vice-President post was occupied by another energetic yet potential youth, Mr.Lingeshwaran Sadasivam (Lingesh). He was also part of the 07/08 committee member helding a vital post as Head of Activities. Beyond this two main driving force of the club, there are new secretaries as well as treasurers. The secretary post is lead by Mr.Akilan Thangarajah (Akilan) and assisted by Ms.Nithya Karrupiah (Nithya). For the Treasurer task, Ms Jaskirath Kaur Sohanpal (Jaski) was appointed as she has gained a lot of valuable experience before this when helding the Vice-Treasurer post(07/08).She will be assisted by Ms.Alicia Rani Francis(Alicia). As we look further down the order, Head of Student Affairs goes to another experienced member of the club, Ms.Kushala Priya Ramachandran (Kushy). For the Head of Activities post, two new young bloods were introduced to the club. The two promising new comers were Mr.Agilan Annamalai (Agilan) and Mr.Puneethan Raj (Puneeth). Next on the list is Head of Publicity whereby the post was taken charge by well known figure in Curtin University of Technology,Mr.Vignes Shanmuganathan (Viki) and Ms.Nishara Sayer (Nisha). There were also about four sub committee members selected. They are Mr.Ajay Davis (Ajay), Mr.Kevin,Mr.Rajdave Singh (Raj) and Ms.Simitha Kuna Raja (Simi).

With the mixture of some old and new faces, the club has a very bright future ahead. Lots of interesting and mind blowing activities are being planned.So till then, stay calm and cool.... :-)

Hello everyone...

CiTY CLUB stands for Curtin Indian Tulasi Youth Club. It was officially established and registered under Student Council, Curtin University of Technology in year 2005.It was ignited by a group of Indian students. This club started to shine in the eyes of all Curtinians in year 2006. Since then, CiTY CLUB has been a very successful and well known club in Curtin.

This club is open to all Curtin Students and Staffs. We are not a religious organization but a social club. We have members from various countries in our club such as Malaysia (majotiry), Maldives, Sri Lanka, India, Brunei, & Bangladesh.

Our activities branches into various forms like sports,entertainment,charity,and etc. Among those activities that have been organized are City Futsal tournament, Curtin Freestyle Dance Battle, Leadership Talk, Rangoli Designing, and many more.
