Mens matches

Group A
Team Ninja Turtles (B) picked up from where the left off last night with a convincing win over Mangeva FC. Ragu started things off for the Turtles before adding another one just before half time. Puneeth added a goal to his name before Barath, with his third goal in this campaign, put the icing on the cake. In the other game from group A saw team Milo Taboq picking up their first win with a 2-0 victory over Mat Poom-Poom. Goals from Farouq and Amirul split the two teams apart.

Group B
In the first game from group B, Not the Real Madrid held defending champions, Machanz, to a 1-1 draw. An own goal from Machanz defender, Koshin, put Not the Real Madrid up just for Jorden to equalize late in the game. In a hard-fought game, XLR8 (B) came out victorious with a 2-1 win over team Ninja Turtles (A). Thiagu opened the scoring before Moha made things even just before the half. Thiagu added his second and decisive goal towards the end to give XLR8 the win.

Group C
The opening match in this group saw Eagles and Headhunters FC lock horns. An end to end battle but one came out victorious. An early goal from Nadun put Eagles up. Wave after wave of attack by both teams but the single goal from Nadun held on only until the final minute for Mmediong to assure the win for Eagles. In the second game, Lakeside Freshman United took on Papadam FC (A). Fresh off a win from the first game, Papadam FC made it two from two, both goals from Sundra and Ravi from fresh men who managed to score 1, ending the game with a winning 2-1 for Pappadam A

Group D
Group D, XLR8 (A) against Team Butet kicked off things for this Group. Fresh off a big victory yesterday, XLR8 took this game 4-1. Goals from Taha, Steve and Mazly put XLR8 3 up before Syafiq pulled one back for Team Butet. Berty later added one for himself to make it 4. The last other game from group D saw T Super-Serial take on Papadam FC (B). A convincing 5-0 victory for Papadam kept the smile the players faces from the previous day. A hat-trick from Raj, one from Vijay, and one from keeper Kevin made it a good day for the men in orange.


Girls matches

Group E
In the first girls game of the night saw City Girls grab a good 4-0 win over team Cengkerik. Goals from Nisha, Tim (2), and an own goal from Cengkerik’s Nabila split the teams apart and made City Girls go two from two. In the other game from Group E, Emergency go into tomorrow’s game against City Girls also with a 100% record after grabbing a 2-0 win over Rama- Rama. Two late goals from Shal made it 7 goals in 2 matches for her and assured the win for Emergency.

Group F
Only one game played from Group F with Kupu-Kupu given the night off and ShushBugs playing their first game in the tournament. They came up against a Red Hawks, high off a 6-0 win the night before, and the Hawks picked up where the left off, a 4-0 win. Two goals each from Esther and Jessica put ShushBugs aside.
