ELIMINATION CHAMBER!
MENS QUARTERFINALS
SUMBAT FC VS PAPPADAM ALPHA:
In the first matchup on the elimination round, Sumbat FC took on a determined Pappadam Alpha whom at this point has only won one game so far making Sumbat FC the favourites heading into this game. Waves of attack from both sides however neither side could break the deadlock.It headed into extra time. Pappadam inserted forward Vijay whose combo with keeper Hafeel has worked wonders thus far. It threatened Sumbat but they prevailed. Only until Sheeran popped up and gave them the advantage. Pappadam took the advantage and defended valiantly to hold on to the precious lead and take their side into the Semis.
FINAL SCORE: SUMBAT FC 0 – 1 PAPPADAM ALPHA
HQ VS PAPPADAM OMEGA:
It was a david versus goliath situation with this one as Pappadam Omega came into this one being huge underdogs with many writing them off. They however almost proved their critics wrong after the score showed 1-1 at the half with Mmediong netting for HQ before Silan netted the equaliser for Pappadam. However in the second, HQ’s superiority showed as they ended the game with a whopping 5-1 victory. Mmediong secured a brace while Owan (2) and Ope netted for HQ.
FINAL SCORE: HQ 5 - 1 PAPPADAM OMEGA
MACHANZ VS MILO TABOQ:
In a highly anticipated match between two strong teams, Milo Taboq came into this game looking to end Machanz’s strong run in the tournament thus far. However they were on the receiving end of the defeat as Machanz ran out 4-1 victors to book a spot in the Semi Finals. A brace from Raj and a goal each for Lingesh and Danny put the scoreline up for Machanz. Farouq netted the sole goal in between for Milo Taboq.
FINAL SCORE: MACHANZ 4 - 1 MILO TABOQ
JOHNIE WALKER VS TEH TARIK PENG:
Physical: that is what we can brand this game as pushing and shoving was highly part of this game. It took a while but the first goal came courtesy of an own goal by Dany of Johnie Walker to give TehTarikPeng a 1-0 lead going into halftime. Johnie Walker thrived for an equaliser but were caught napping after conceding a 2nd goal and sealed the game for TehTarikPeng.

DEALBREAKERS VS WHACK ONLY:
In what was a rematch from last Thursday, dealbreakers again faced whack only however this time it was goals galore as the match ended 3-2 win dealbreakers taking the victory. Tim, Jacqueline and Jessica found the net for Dealbreakers while a brace for Esther gave whack only the precious two goals.
X-IT VS JUST FOR LAUGHS:
It was 3 minutes into this that when the referees made a decision to pause the game as injuries plagued Just for laughs after Nadea needed treatment by the medics. After a long pause the game resumed and it was X-IT whom had the last laugh after a blunder by Mea allowed a shot by Talent to slip through and give X-IT a 1-0 victory.
